Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg: 'In a relationship'

The founder of Facebook has finally changed his relationship status on the site, having dated his girlfriend for seven years.

Mark Zuckerberg updated his status to 'In a relationship' in honour of his romance with college girlfriend Priscilla Chan.

The 26-year-old added that the change had been "long overdue".

Mark and Priscilla – who was also portrayed in the 2010 movie The Social Network - started seeing each other when they were both studying at Harvard University.

James Cameron's Avatar breaks Titanic's box office records in India

James Cameron's Avatar has turned out to be a record breaker for producers Fox Star Studios in India. The movie has broken the box office collections of Cameron's previous money spinner – Titanic – in India. Avatar has grossed Rs 560 million (Rs 56 crore) in India in less than two weeks, and has thereby broken Titanic's record as the highest grosser for 20th Century Fox in India.
Titanic released in India in 1997 and with a total collection of Rs 550 million (Rs 55 crore) was till date the biggest film for Fox in India. It was also one of the all time Top 3 Hollywood films in India along with Spiderman 3 and 2012.
Fox Star Studios, India CEO Vijay Singh said, "Avatar has broken all major records in India and across the globe and is now the biggest film ever for Twentieth Century Fox in India. Despite being in the second week, the collections are only getting stronger and the number of prints is actually increasing in several parts of the country. We are thankful to the audiences and our partners for their support & enthusiasm towards Avatar."
The movie earned Rs 1 crore through its paid previews across India; the highest for any Hollywood film in India. It grossed Rs 6.7 crores on the opening day itself making it the biggest ever Friday opening for any Hollywood film in India.
Avatar then became the highest grosser among Hollywood films in India in terms of weekend collections of Rs 220 million (Rs 22 crore). The opening week collections in India were Rs 400 million (Rs 40 crore) in India.
Worldwide the movie has collected $620 million in 10 days with a cumulative drop of just 10% from last week.

Ranbir Kapoor voted as the Sexiest Asian Man

The Rockstar of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor has finally clinched the Sexiest Asian Man title, beating some strong competitors like John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan.

This Kapoor scion, who is famous for his high profile romances, topped the survey, which was conducted by the London Weekly, Eastern Eye.

The 28-year-old heartthrob of the nation says, “If the women did not like me I would feel that something is wrong, but it does feel good. I do understand that the fans I have comprise mainly of women, it feels good to be wanted by so many women.”

Meanwhile the editor of Eastern Eye said that the actor had claimed for this title with an overwhelming margin. The editor said, “Usually it is a closely fought contest, where as this year there was only one clear winner. Winning by large margin is remarkable when you take into consideration the very high profile men who were in the list.”

Ranbir made his acting debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. He has been going strong post his launch and has tasted every bit of the commercial success with hits like Rajneeti, Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani.

The Bollywood hunk John Abraham missed this spot and landed second on this. Hrithik Roshan got the third spot while R&B star Jay Sean got the fourth spot.

Surprisingly, the ladylove of Ranbir’s life also topped the list of the hottest women in the world.

Bachchan family pays tax of Rs 37.55 cr

Reportedly, actor Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will collectively pay income-tax of Rs. 37.55 crore for the year ending March 2011. Bachchans have been one of the highest tax paying family of the Bollywood town from last few years. Year 2010-11 has been one of the most profitable year for the Bachchans as all of them had multiple releases in this year. They have even done a lot of commercial ads, which adds up to the impressive amount collectively.
In the past actors like Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and Shahrukh Khan have also been listed out as the highest tax payers with amount like Rs 18 crores, Rs 15.10 crores and Rs 14 crores, respectively.
