Buzz is that the Hollywood star will apparently play lead in a South project, Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan will do cameos The grapevine is buzzing with news about the three superstars, Jackie Chan, Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan sharing screen space in an Indian film.Apparently, South director Venu Ravichandran, also known as Aaskar (Oscar) Ravichandran, has already roped in Jackie to play the lead in his next and is in talks with Sallu and Kamal Haasan to do cameos in the action film. The filmmaker had recently revealed his plans to make a sequel to the Jackie's Armour of God. Ravichandran has been negotiating with the Hollywood actor for long and now a deal is closed to being sealed. A source says, "It will be the mother of all action films and is going to be made on a mammoth budget of R 300 crore. It will be the most expensive Indian film ever made."The source reveals, "Ravichandran has approached Salman to play an important cameo. He feels the actor has one of the best bodies in Bollywood and the charisma to match Jackie. Only he can carry that role.
Actress Kareena Kapoor, who has lately been doing many item numbers in Bollywood, is gearing up for her next item song in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine". "We have a new item song called 'Halkat Jawani' which is a wonderful song that will be picturised on Kareena Kapoor. I am sure the audiences will love this song. This film 'Heroine' will be a different sort of film for Kareena Kapoor, " Bhandarkar told. Directed by Bhandarkar, the film has Kareena and Arjun Rampal in the lead.The director says 40 percent of the shooting has been done."Forty percent of the film has been finished. From (April) 10th, we will again have a nonstop shooting and by September the film will be released, " he said.Bhandarkar also sought to deny speculation that the film is based on Manisha Koirala's life."This film is not based on Manisha Koirala. It is absolutely wrong. Lot of things had been written about the film before. I have created a character called Mahi Arora who is today's girl. The film is all about how she witnesses the ups and downs in her life, " he said.

Bollywood's newest foreign import, dancer Lauren Gottlieb starts taking lessons in Hindi
American dancer Lauren Gottlieb, who is all set to act in Remo D'Souza's next film is on a strict prep mode. As she is required to mouth Hindi dialogues in her Bollywood debut, Remo has found her a coach to teach her the language.
Speaking about Lauren, who participated in the US show So You Think You Can Dance in 2007, our source reveals, "Lauren has decided to keep the coach for a while to help her get better with the language.
As soon as she came to Mumbai, 10 days back, she started her lessons and everyday for about an hour, she spends time with her coach."
The 23-year-old dancer is so smitten by the language that she keeps practicing on the sets and off. The source adds further, "Lauren is constantly practising her Hindi.
She has asked people to talk to her in Hindi on the sets so that she can get a hang of the language faster. The moment her rehearsals end, she is back at her hotel where she sits with her coach. It is difficult for her to learn a new language but she is determined to get better.
She is showing great improvement and by the time her dialogue portions are needed to be filmed, she will be quite fluent." The dancer-turned-actress says, "Yes, I do have a coach who is helping me to learn Hindi. I have to say some dialogues in Hindi and I want to do it well."
